Singer Aaron Carter died at the age of 34 on Saturday. He was found dead at his California home. He is known for his breakout album Aaron’s Party.
A spokesman said they discovered a body just before 11 am. His rep said in a statement, “We are extremely saddened and shocked to confirm the passing of Aaron Carter today.”
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department tells Techstories that deputies pulled the singer over Tuesday around 10:45 AM while he was driving an RV.
After that, they got a call about a driver weaving in traffic and possibly driving under the influence. They also said they didn’t even know the guy was Aaron Carter until they pulled him over.
Officers also told it’s not clear who made the 911 call but did note Aaron’s off-again GF Melanie Martin, was driving behind him at the time in a white Range Rover.
Aaron Carter Cause Of Death
Aaron was the younger brother of Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter, who rose to fame in 1997 with his self-titled debut album, followed by Aaron’s Party Oh Aaron in 2001 and Another Earthquake! in 2002.
It featured the hit singles “I Want Candy” and “That’s How I Beat Shaq.” He is also ventured into acting and appeared on “Lizzie McGuire” and a competition show “Dancing With the Stars.”
Carter told about mental health issues and drug addiction during a 2019 interview on the television show “The Doctors”.
He also said he suffered from multiple personality disorders, schizophrenia, acute anxiety, and manic depression.
Aaron Carter’s brother Nick Carter said he had thoughts of killing Nick’s wife. Aaron Carter’s cause isn’t clear at this moment. But police investigate to clear his cause of death. It can be murder or suicide.
