Darryl Hunt had died at the age of 72.
The Pogues wrote on Twitter that they were “disheartened indeed” to share the news. No data about the reason for his passing has been shared freely.
The band posted a highly contrasting photograph of Hunt holding a guitar case, offering recognition by citing the verses of their tune ‘Love You Till the End’ (composed by Hunt) with: “I realize you need to hear me slow down and rest/I love you till the end.”
The punk group reported Hunt kicked the bucket on Monday evening in London, adding they were “disheartened indeed”. The reason for death isn’t yet known.
They shared a photograph of Hunt playing a guitar and cited verses of their tune Love You ‘Till The End, which was composed by him.
Band frontman Shane MacGowan added that they will all miss Hunt.
MacGowan composed on Twitter: “I’m incredibly grieved that Darryl has passed on, he was a truly decent fellow and an extraordinary companion and an extraordinary bass player.

Before Hunt started playing bass in The Pogues in 1986 he was essential for the bar musical crew Plummet Airlines And The Favorites.
