He served the Henry Area people group for a very long time and was set to resign in November.

Appearance and burial service game plans will be held for this present week.

The appearance is set for Thursday, Oct. 20 at Gun Cleveland Memorial service Home from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The burial service home is situated at 2580 Hwy 42 North in McDonough.

The burial service will be held the next day on Friday, Oct. 21 around early afternoon at Salem Baptist. The congregation is situated at 1724 Hwy 155 North in McDonough. No graveside administration will follow the burial service.

Numerous people group individuals gave sympathies in the remarks on the police division’s Facebook post, saying Padgett was a companion to all who will be remembered fondly.

People flocked to the comment section offering their prayers and condolences to the officer’s family.

Visiting hours will be open at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Home in McDonough on Oct. 20 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.

The funeral is expected to be held at Salem Baptist Church the following afternoon.
