Hilary Devey has died at the age of 65. Her agent said that Devey died in Morocco after battling a long illness. Her agent confirmed it on social media.
She had been staying at her holiday home when she passed away on Saturday.
A person said: “I can confirm that Hilary sadly died yesterday. She had been ill for some time.”
Hilary shot to fame by appearing in Channel 4’s The Secret Millionaire in 2008 and later The Business Inspector on Channel 5 in 2010.
In 2009, Devey became the first woman to win the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport’s Sir Robert Lawrence award.

The gravel-voiced Bolton native’s no-nonsense attitude became an instant hit with fans.

Fellow “Dragon” Theo Paphitis paid tribute to Devey on Twitter, writing: “So sad to hear of the passing of the lovely Hilary Devey.
“She left us all with some fantastic memories, may she rest in peace. My thoughts are with her family.”
