Andy Fletcher Cause Of Death Revealed – What Happened With Him?
Andy Fletcher, a founding member of the multi-platinum synth-pop band Depeche Mode, passed away at the age of 60.
Fletcher was born in 1961 in Nottingham, England. His family moved to Basildon, where he befriended Vince Clarke.
The pair formed a band called No Romance in China. Fletcher and Clarke started a new project, Composition of Sound, after meeting Martin Gore.
They changed their name to Depeche Mode in 1980 after the addition of Dave Gahan. Depeche Mode released their debut album, Speak & Spell, in 1981.
It featured the singles “Dreaming of Me,” “New Life,” and “Just Can’t Get Enough.” Later that year, Clarke departed the band.
The band posted an advertisement for a replacement, which led to the addition of Alan Wilder.

Fletcher’s bandmates delivered the news through their official Twitter account, saying that they had just lost their family, friend, and bandmate.
“Andy ‘Fletch’ Fletcher. Fletch had a true heart of gold and was always there when you needed support, a lively conversation, a good laugh, or a cold pint. Our hearts are with his family, and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and respect their privacy in this difficult time,” the press release said.
It did not disclose Andy Fletcher’s cause of death, but Techstories 360 confirmed that the musician died of natural causes.
His sudden passing left fans heartbroken and shocked, causing them to unexpectedly pen tribute messages amid the trying times.
“We are shocked and filled with overwhelming sadness with the untimely passing of our dear friend, family member, and bandmate Andy ‘Fletch’ Fletcher,” read a statement posted to Depeche Mode’s social media pages on Thursday.
