Salinas Police Officer David Alvarado Death Cause – How did he die?

Salinas Police Department Officer Jorge David Alvarado pulled over a car about 10:45 p.m. on Friday in the area of Market Street and Griffin Street and the traffic stop turned into a shootout, said Miguel Cabrera, a spokesperson for the police department.

At a news gathering with a few authorities Saturday, Salinas Police Chief Roberto Filice said Alvarado’s activities during the showdown assisted them with capturing the suspect. Filice gave no different subtleties on the suspect for sure prompted the shootout.

“The official remained in the battle the whole way to the end. Eventually, he took care of it. He gave his life for it,” Filice said.

Five Year Veteran of the Department
Alvarado, 30, was a five-year veteran of the office. He was the primary cop killed in the line of obligation in almost 80 years in Salinas, Salinas Mayor Kimbley Craig said.
